We first want to thank all of those that came out to support us by entering your ride in our car show. We really enjoyed having everyone and we all had a really great time. A big thanks goes out to all the businesses that made contributions to our cause as well, we could not have had such a great show without you. For anyone that did not attend and wonder what you missed, Eagle Motorsports, partnered with ASME, held a fund raising car show on November 7, 2009. All funds raised by the event will be used to complete the two race cars we are building and racing, the FSAE formula car and the Baja SAE buggy. In total there were about 40 entries in a range of categories including Ford, GM, Mopar, Sports Car, Antique (1900-1945), Truck, Motorcycle, Youth and Sound. We used this opportunity to showcase our past cars, explain our purpose, and spread the word about the hard work we're proudly doing under the GSU banner. This was a great experience for us as well, putting on the first large scale car show with such a positive response from the community. We hope to expand on this falls car show with plans for a Spring show already in the works for March '10 so please stay tuned, we hope to have everyone back again!
